![]() ![]() ![]() The reason I think that this problem is also a concurrency/timing handling problem between threads is thatĪ) the problem is not fix, seems to be totally randomī) I tried to get a callstack from crash point to see that what modules are involved, but I couldn't succeed. Sometimes the crashing module is ntdll.dll and not Amplitube 5.dll. The splash screen shows that Amplitube 5 VST is loading then the whole program window disappers.Ĭ:\Program Files\VstPlugins\AmpliTube 5.dll Unfortunately using Amplitube 5 in a project occures crashes on every third probject load. It also worked (almost) everytime if I set the rendering to realtime. My guess is that it is some kind of multithread handling problem, because it seems to be releated with timing.Īmplitube 4 crashed only when I was Full Speed rendering my project, I have never had any issues when recording or using it live. ![]() Since I'm also delevoping codes for living, I tried to figure out what can be the problem, but it's quite difficult without source codes I'm using a Mac running Mojave.Unfortunately AmpliTube has some issues with Reaper (may with other DAWs also, I've never tried). I mostly play in standalone mode and haven't used my DAW much in a while so I don't know if I'd have the issues of AT crashing my DAW like some have said. Again I can simply click past this message and my presets then work-but it's aggravating. ![]() I can click past it, but it's annoying to see and when I'm firing up Amplitube, it's often when I've got an idea in my head that I'm trying to document as quickly as I can before I forget it- and I don't need extra steps in the way of that.Īlso, every once in while I'll pull up a preset and get the message that "Some pieces of gear are not owned"and would I like to purchase them- when I have owned these pieces of gear for a long time (usually it's some pieces of Fender gear if I recall). I've done the "fix" of opening up Custom Shop and restoring, etc several times and this message just keeps coming back. I love it- but every time I open Amplitube now I get this unsightly message too. ![]()
